Privacy Policy for Real O Who
Overview
Real O Who is a private property sale app that helps sellers and buyers manage listings, offers, secure messaging, legal handoff, post-settlement tasks, and related workflow tools.
This Privacy Policy explains what information Real O Who uses, how that information is used, and the choices available to you. Real O Who is operated by Roper Digital Group.
Information we collect
Real O Who processes information you provide directly, information created through your use of the app, and limited device-level settings needed to make features work. This can include:
- Profile details, such as your name, email address, suburb, and whether you are using the app as a buyer or seller.
- Local starter-profile data created when the app is used without a full sign-in flow.
- Property listing details, photos or attachments you provide, inspection notes, saved searches, saved properties, and offer records.
- Secure message content, message metadata, safety reports, blocks, and moderation-related actions inside transaction threads.
- Verification information and supporting documents you choose to upload, such as ownership evidence, finance proof, legal handoff packs, settlement summaries, handover files, invoices, quotes, and payment proof.
- Legal workflow information, including selected conveyancers, solicitors, or lawyers, contract-status steps, and invitation activity.
- Post-sale concierge workflow information, including provider selections, service schedules, follow-up reminders, issue logs, receipts, invoices, refunds, and archive records.
- Notification preferences and reminder state used to send local task and follow-up alerts when you allow notifications.
- Suburb, address area, coordinates, and provider search context needed to show local legal or concierge options.
How we use information
Real O Who uses information to operate the app and its transaction workflows, including to:
- Show listings, saved items, offers, negotiations, legal steps, and archive history.
- Enable direct communication between transaction participants.
- Generate reminders, status updates, and in-app workflow prompts.
- Store and present documents you upload or generate through the app.
- Support local provider search, ranking, replacement suggestions, and booking follow-through.
- Provide support, respond to abuse or safety reports, and improve service reliability.
How data is stored
Real O Who may operate in a local-device mode, a synced mode, or a combination of both depending on feature availability and backend support. App data can be stored locally on your device and, where supported, synchronized with backend services used to support the app experience.
Secure message content is stored in encrypted local app storage and may be included in protected transaction synchronization workflows where those workflows are available.
Notifications
If you allow notifications, Real O Who may send local device notifications for task reminders, concierge follow-ups, legal workflow steps, and other time-sensitive transaction events. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.
Sharing inside a transaction
Information you choose to place into a transaction workflow may be visible to the other party in that workflow and to invited legal participants connected to that same transaction. Examples include offer details, selected providers, messages, uploaded documents, and settlement-related records.
Real O Who does not sell your personal information and does not provide your personal information to advertisers for their own marketing use.
Third-party services and external links
Real O Who may open external services or links when you use provider-search, website, phone, map, or support features. Those services may process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
For example, when you look up local conveyancers, solicitors, lawyers, removalists, cleaners, or related providers, the relevant suburb or area details may be used to retrieve local results or open an external listing.
Support communications
If you contact support by email, we use the information you send to respond to your request and maintain support records.
Data retention and deletion
Data may remain on your device while the app is installed. Removing the app may remove locally stored data from that device, subject to your device backup behavior.
If synced services or account deletion tools are available in the app, those tools may also remove or update records associated with your app use. Some records may be retained for legitimate operational, safety, legal, or dispute-resolution reasons.
Security
Real O Who uses reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect app data. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure, so you should avoid uploading information you are not comfortable managing digitally.
Children
Real O Who is not directed to children and is not intended for use by people under 18 in connection with property transactions.
